here. I have to say I find it extremely sad, I visited several Borders bookstores while in the US and it was kind of the "Walmart" of bookstores: huge and very affordable prices.
I care to differ. I don't feel sorry for Border's at all, as a matter of fact, I'm kind of glad it's going out of business, Border's is responsible for putting out of business hundreds of locally owned small bookshops that were pleasant to be in, not the supermarket style megabookshop. I miss those second hand bookshops where the owner knew what he was talking about and not the uniformed shop assistant who asks you at check-out: "Would you like some fries with that?"
